I've never used a financial writer before. What's the process?

We'll schedule a teleconference to discuss what you're looking for, the length of the project, the level of research, and your time-frame. We can usually price the deal right then. Then we'll shoot you a short contract summarizing our terms. Work begins once we receive the executed contract and the first payment.

Do you require a contract?

Yes. It's short and to the point. We'll email it to you and then you simply sign it and return it with your first payment via overnight delivery.

What are your payment terms?

Payment in advance for 50% of the project. When that is completed, the second 50% payment is due.

Is there an opt-out feature?

Typically, yes. After you have paid us for 50% of the project and we have delivered 50% of the project, either of us can decide to walk away.

What about revisions?

We do not do revisions or rewrites. Work is submitted "as is."

Do you charge by the word, the project or by the hour?

We charge by the word. The number of words is decided during our teleconference and is stipulated in the contract.

What does your fee include?

It varies. Our solutions can include teleconferences, project planning, research, writing, and electronic delivery of the project.

How is the project delivered?

In Word or PDF format via electronic mail (email).

What about rights to the work?

It depends on the project. Typically, you purchase all rights to the work and can use and reuse it anyway you want. We retain the right to post a copy on our website.
